A family-run restaurant, truly and masterfully headed up by Mary, an outgoing, independent-thinking, lively person, who will help you figure out what would be good for you. She, and her assistant, the exotic ___ (yikes, forgot her name!), serve piping hot, fresh and delicious food, every time, every meal. I love the varied vegetablke dishes, and sweetie gets curried prawns a lot. The place is quite unappealing in decor, hard lights glaring over a square room divided by a low shelf with some plants on it. Oddly enough one rarely feels crowded there. It doesn't pretend to be anything but what it is -- fresh, good food, prepared the way you ask, served by unique and delightful people, in a very clean, square room with bright lights. I always go back. Prices run mid-range, and there are combination plates.
