As the story goes---you get what you pay for! What you get is superb service & a steak I can never duplicate at home! The asparagus were cooked just perfectly with the hollandais sauce, the caesar salad was just fine.The cookie/brownie dessert had a touch of Rhubarb sauce that complemented the cookie & ....dinner was great! They now have a "special priced" part of the menu wher you can get a 6oz steak with accompaniments for less money....worth every buck!

Without a doubt the absolute best restaraunt in Sarasota. If you are visiting and live here and have never eaten here, this is the place to go. Food melts in your mouth, Calamari to die for. Every single items was absolutely fantastic and I mean fantastic. The price is around $100.00 a person to eat there (If you eat like me, $40 a person if you eat conservatively). It sounds like a lot but it is not when you compare to spending $80.00 at Chili's for two people and you walk out wondering why you went there. When you walk out of Ruth Chris, you will know why you go there, to get something that you cannot get at home. The staff, The Free Valet parking, the Food, the atmosphere.... WOW WOW WOW. I have been to the Ritz, Stonewood, Waterfrontoo, Sam Seltzer and 100 other restaraunts over the last 8 years here. Ruth Chris tops them all. Thank you for the fantastic time. E.G.
