      Established in 1987, Good Samaritan Services is a nonprofit corporation that provides emergency, transitional and support services and programs related to homelessness and alcohol and substance abuse. The organization maintains a more than 75-bed shelter that features a kitchen and a dining hall. It has partnerships with citizens and volunteers from over 30 churches and organizations. Good Samaritan Services offers medical and mental health screening, employment assistance, training, counseling, and drug and alcohol treatment programs. It also provides food, clothing and after-school tutorial services for homeless children.
