Best Italian in Santa Fe. The owner/chef worked in Los Angeles at San Genero in Brentwood for 18 years. He brought his expertise to Santa FE a few years ago and is doing a bang up job.The chicken parm is as good as it can be anywhere. I have never had better Fried Calamari from New York to Los Angeles.This is a real NY family style restaurant not fancy and not over priced like others in Santa Fe.The pizza is acceptable but I am a spoiled east coast pizza lover.I have sent many people to Piccolino's and have never heard a bad comment.
