      The Hidden Chicken Cafe, a family-owned and operated restaurant, opened in 1996. This home-style restaurant is the life-long dream of Sam and Marilyn Kahn. In 1995, after 20 years in the real estate business, Sam and Marilyn moved to Santa Fe, from Southern California, in order to fulfill their dream of living in the southwest and owning a restaurant. After looking for a location for over a year they found the perfect spot, in the Smith's Emporium Center, slightly "hidden" from the street and named their restaurant the "Hidden Chicken Cafe.
