Here is a letter I just sent to Dr. Noel Krok and the staff at Eye Q: Today is Thursday. Last Sunday late I lost my left contact lens while I was removing it (very mysteriously vanished before my eyes, as they say), called you on Monday but I was overdue for a check-up, had that check-up (you worked me in) on Tuesday, and picked up my new lenses (replaced the right one too which was 3 years old) today at 5:45 pm. That's some great teamwork there. Because of it I was able to have productive practice at the piano this evening to prepare for an upcoming performance, in which I will be able to see the best I can possibly see all those pretty little running 16th notes, as well as enjoy my son's wedding next weekend, read my notes for my mother-of-the-groom wedding toast easily, and see what I am eating at the reception!
