      Founded in 1945, Kaiser Permanente is one of the leading, nonprofit health plans in the United States. The organization serves more than 8 million members. Kaiser Permanente also offers educational and training programs for physicians, nurses and health professionals. The organization provides health plans for people in Georgia, Hawaii, Colorado and Southern California. It manages over 30 medical centers and nearly 400 offices.
