I agreed to $69 foot assessment and pair of insoles. "Harry" added a $30 heel pad to the left insole, said I had a short leg and that I have lower back pain, which I do not! Overall, the arches felt too high, but he guaranteed me they would feel great in 2 days. Three days later, my feet were killing me. Took everything back to try and make it right, he angrily told me no refunds! All I wanted was to return the heel pad, and get a pair of insoles that didn't hurt. He got mad, took everything to the counter, and told me to come back later; he would "adjust the insoles." By this time, I knew I was in trouble with this guy, but I agreed to come back. I did however tell him that I wanted the $30 heel pad credited. He started yelling "NO refund, you get no refund!! You get out, I busy man!!!" By this time, I had had it with the insanity, told him I too was a busy man, and I now demanded a full refund. The guy went nuts, tossed everything at me and yelled at me to get out of his store! Very poor workmanship and rude service on top of it. Friendly when you walk in and very reassuring that they can do the work. They ruined a great pair of shoes! I took in a pair of casual flats to be dyed a pewter color, along with 3 different samples (a piece of paper, shoe laces, & fabric) of the correct color. I left the samples with her and the shoes. The woman behind the counter took the samples and wrote notes in chinese/japanese on their work order. 6 weeks and $50.00 later (had to pay in advance) my shoes came back bright metallic gold that looked like a kindergarten paint job with a brush. She claims I lied about the color and she didn't "remember" the samples I took in. Of course they were missing when I went to pick up the shoes. There was masking tape on the bottom of the shoes and metallic brush marks on the heels and on the inside. Needless to say, a waste of time and money. I don't recommend this shop. Great location but don't be fooled. Read the reviews & take heed.

The proprietor lost the shoe which I had dropped off to be repaired. Instead of apologizing, he screamed and swore at me as if it were my fault! He insisted that I must have picked up the shoe already, but had forgotten about it! Without question, the rudest service I have ever received in my life.

I found the gentleman to be very knowledgable, and since English is a second language, a little patience from the the other person would have been better. The quality and service was excellent.
