The reviews that are posted by Martin W are from Marty the guy that owns this, what I think, is a makeshift company! I would call the insurance agent to verify that his insurance is valid even if he shows you a copy of it! I've heard several people say he's a rip off artist! I would Beware of this guy! I've heard that his own father won't have anything to do with him anymore because of the things he's done! I've heard that he's caused a lot of damages to people's property! I've heard that he's spent quite a bit of time in prison & jail! I would proceed with extreme caution if you choose to be involved with Marty!
Don't Hire this company M.T.S trees. Marty Weidendorf. He is a scam artist who happens to know how to cut trees. He will steal your deposit and your will never hear from him again. Stole 2000 cash from me by fast talking. Shows up late so I wasn't able to be there to check his license and insurance certificate. Brings his goofballs team and they start limbing branches all over my yard. Tells my wife he needs deposit since he started work already. Gives her a signed proposal. When I show up to inspect and check his license and insurance says hes got it in his truck. Then says hees gonna get lunch and never returns! Gives some baloney story about being arrested. Texts threats when negative reviews go up but still doesn't agree to return our $2000!
I am the owner of mts tree service,and i would like to say sometimes things are not understood what the job entails,please ask before we start a job,dont leave a bad review!
Did a great job on our trees,sometimes things dont go as planned but everything was done safe and nobody was hurt.great job!!
We hired Martin to remove two trees in our backyard. He requested the money up front. I had a feeling that was bad business..and it seemed shady, but my husband decided to pay him up front anyway.
Martin came out and topped off 1 of our trees and left with his crew for the day. He took several jobs after with other customers and told us he'd be back to finish ours up when he could.
It has been 3 months since we've heard from Martin. He no longer responds to the messages we leave. I don't usually leave negative feedback.. But I feel much like the other reviewer right now. :( Definitely not professional...and extremely disappointing to say the least.
Worse part is every time we look in the backyard, we're reminded of what crappy communication and service we've received from this Tree Removal Company.
