This atmosphere of this place, at night, is vaguely reminiscent of an an 'acid trip', but less organized. The restaurant hostess is brusque and will talk to a potential customer on the phone instead of dealing with a real customer standing in front of her. The jazz band, which is key to their Friday advertising, is only viewable if one is part of a very large party with a reservation. The bar is in a sequestered area, and appetizers are always available as long as "the kitchen isn't too busy". Tables without place-settings near the dance floor are available, as long as no service whatsoever is required. If large parties will be present in the upcoming 90 minutes, the standard booths have a 40-50% vacancy factor, but expect to wait an hour for dinner service anyway. I'm very articulate with respect to the English language, but felt as though I need a translator for the rapidly-spoken, blathering insanity disseminated by the staff. All I could do was laugh, shrug my shoulders and leave.
