Located in San Jose, Calif., the Orchard School District serves students in elementary, middle and high schools. Its staff includes teachers, curriculum consultants, vocational therapists, nurses, guidance counselors and psychologists. The district s schools offer a nationally recognized, abuse-resistance program and the English as a Second Language program. In addition, its schools offer cocurricular activities and after-school programs. The Orchard School District provides a variety of sports activities, such as volleyball, swimming, cheerleading, basketball, baseball and tennis. Its extracurricular programs include athletics, student government, clubs, mission trips and peer tutoring programs.
