Blink Eyebrows & Cosmetics

This is the place to go to for eyebrows in San Francisco. The owner Anna the is amazing , but so are the rest of staff.
The difference between blink and most eyebrow places and the reason why it takes longer than most places(this is to answer oliveeyes' comment) is that they do not wax the eyebrows. They only thread the excess hair or use tweezers or both. Which means they get all the hair by the root each time. The problem with waxing eye brows is that you do not have the same exact fine control over the results compared to tweezing or threading and some of the hair gets broken off at the surface instead of being pulled out by the root, which means in a week or two pretty much most of the hair can be back at once and the results do not last as long.
Also the other great thing with this place as opposed to many spas and some eye brow places , especially if you have dark hair as I do , is that they understand tinting dark brows and get consistent great results when lightning them.
I have had my eyebrows shaped for over 20 years in many different places with great reputations and this is by far the best of them . I have always had asymmetrical brows and Anna was the first person who got them perfectly shaped and symmetrical.I have recommended them to all my friends and everyone loves them.

Why does it take sooooo long (1 hr. appts) to shape eyebrows at Blink? And why does everyone look so frumpy!? Spending an hour makes me think y'all don't know what you're doing. I should also add that the aesthetician actually said she wasn't sure she'd be able to get my eyebrows to match. Yikes! That is NOT what I want to hear when I'm spending an hour in a chair and paying top dollar for what's supposed to be the best. I don't know what all the fuss is about this place, but really, save your money and go elsewhere. I could have gotten the same shape for 1/4 of the price at a local nail salon.
