Provided by YP.comThe staff of Project Wildlife are the most carry of wild animals in San Diego County. After discovering two baby rabbits (eyes still shut) who had tumbled onto a sidewalk in the La Mesa area several weeks ago, I proceeded to try and find their nest. When I couldn't locate the nest to return them to, I then proceeded to go to three near by veterinary offices with no luck in obtaining some help. However the emergency vet nearby suggested that I take the little bunnies to the Project Wildlife location. When I finally arrived at Project Wildlife it was after hours. Fortunately, there were clear instructions about how to leave the bunnies in a safe and warm area on their porch. What a relief! And then a staff member called me the next day to say the baby bunnies were now being cared for by their "bunny rescue team".
