      I just picked up the best looking pair of eye glasses. I see great and got a lot of complements from my family already. Dr. Tony D. Pham is a great doctor and his staff are nice and helpful. The previous Dr. might not have done his job right but this new doctor is great and can't say anything bad about his office now. Will come back next year.

      I believe Dr. Tony D. Pham has been wrongly rated for what the previous doctor/owner has done. Dr. Pham is by far the best eye doctor I have been to. He is very detail oriented, thorough and gave me the best eye exam ever. He listened to all my problems and concerns and addressed to all of them at the end of his exam. The staff are very nice and they have a great selection of frame. I will definitely come back there again and believe this place has transformed since he took over the office. Corine

      I don't recommend Dr Simond

      I had one visit with Dr Simond and it seems that what is important to Dr Simond is his bottom line. When he thought that my insurance would cover expenses he started listing out all these issues with my corneas, retinas even went as far to say that there was redness on my face that was acne related to eye issues. I don't have redness on my face. When the insurance didn't pan out he dropped all diagnosis and just gave me the glasses that I was looking for which originally he said he would be unable to do since my eyes were so messed up. I had an unrelated appointment with my hospital later that day and had the opthamologist look at my eyes. She did not find any of the things that Dr Simond said that I had wrong with my eyes. I did not get the warm and fuzzy from that office and will be looking elsewhere for eye care.

      BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Awful experience and bad customer service.

      I am very disappointed with my experience at Mira Mesa Eye Care. I had been wearing a particular brand of contacts for quite some time. The doctor informed me that they were being discontinued and recommended I purchase a different pair. I believed him and bought the lenses he suggested. (BTW, my original contacts were not discontinued!) I had a difficult time adjusting to the contacts so I asked to exchange the unopened boxes for my original lenses. I was rudely scolded by the receptionist. She said she'd talk to the office manager and call me back. Two days later and nothing! I called again and spoke to the office manager. She impolitely said she couldn't help me. Finally, she said if I wanted to go back to my original contacts, I had to pay for another fitting for $65! I just had an eye exam/fitting two months prior and both pairs of contacts are from the same manufacturer! My prescription would be the same! I am horrified at the runaround and uncouth behavior at Mira Mesa Eye Care!
