      Acu-Care Health Centers was founded in 1989 by Kimberly Hoover, a San Diego acupuncturist. At Acu-Care, you are not just another patient. Acu-Care means Acupuncture performed with care - not just care about the safety and effectiveness of your treatment, but about you as a person. Acu-Care Health Centers has been serving the San Diego and South Bay communities since 1989. We have two convenient locations. Our Central San Diego office is located at 2852 Adams Avenue, San Diego, CA 92116, and our Bonita (South Bay) office is at 4514 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.
      Business History
      When Kimberly Hoover established Acu-Care Health Centers in 1989, she did so with a firm conviction in the power of Oriental medical therapies and their ability to help heal the body, mind and spirit. It is her desire to share with as many people as possible these healing benefits and to provide such services in a nurturing and supportive atmosphere. Kimberly cares very deeply about those who have entrusted her with their needs and seek to do her best in helping them achieve their goals for increased health and vitality. Acu-Care now also has two new practitioners to help carry on the original mission of getting to the root cause of people's conditions and helping them heal their body, mind and soul. Whatever your needs or goals may be, Acu-Care is available to assist you in meeting them. Over the years, we have felt honored to have had the opportunity to work with so many fine people and look forward to sharing with others the healing benefits of Oriental Medicine.
