DexCom, headquartered in San Diego, is a provider of technologies for monitoring glucose levels of people with diabetes, which is used by patients at home and in health care facilities. It has developed a short-term continuous glucose monitoring system called DexCom STS System that includes STS Sensors and STS Starter Kit. Its STS System Starter Kit includes STS transmitter, STS receiver, STS sensor and applicator, receiver carry case and receiver charger. DexCom STS Continuous Glucose Monitoring System is a patient insertable short-term sensor that wirelessly transmits blood glucose readings to the DexCom STS receiver. DexCom also provides publications that include books, articles, news and journals on diabetes.
