- Emergency CareGenesee Medical Group reserves several appointments per day to serve our acutely ill patients. In times of urgent need, please contact us or visit our Patient Portal to check for an available appointment. Please note, we are unable to accommodate unscheduled appointments (walk-ins). In the event we cannot serve your healthcare needs, please contact your health insurance's website or customer service number for a list of contracted urgent care facilities.
- Flu ShotsFlu shots are coming! We will start vaccinations in September. To receive a call for scheduling when it becomes available, send a secure message via our Patient Portal to be placed on our Flu Shot call list!
- ElectrocardiogramEKGs are required for Class I exams at age 35 for baseline, then once annually thereafter. Class II and Class III do not routinely require an EKG, but it may be necessary in some cases. If an EKG is required, there will be an additional $40.00 charge. Please note, this is an administrative physical and is generally not covered by medical insurance. We are unable to bill your carrier for this service. You must pay in full prior to examination.
- ImmunizationsEffective October 01, 2021, USCIS will REQUIRE proof of completed COVID19 vaccination for all eligible applicants at the time of your medical examination. As of November 03, 2021, this includes all applicants ages 5 years and up. To find a vaccination clinic and schedule an appointment, please visit My Turn (https://myturn.ca.gov) Please note, if receiving Pfizer or Moderna, it will take 3-4 weeks to complete your vaccination series.
- Labor and DeliveryRyan Bolt, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, joined our office in February, 2018. Ryan is a Family Nurse Practitioner who earned his BSN from Boise State after serving in United States Marine Corps. He later earned his Master of Science degree from the University of South Alabama. Ryan has extensive experience in primary care as well as emergency medicine and labor and delivery. Ryan is a participating member of the California Nurse Practitioner's Association and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Ryan sees patients of all ages.
- Internal MedicineInternal Medicine physicians have had extended training in the prevention, diagnosis and management of adult-onset conditions and diseases. Internal Medicine also focuses on preventive care but has an emphasis on management of chronic illnesses. Whichever service is right for you, we have providers to meet your needs.
- Nuclear Medicine3D images will be taken of your heart by a licensed nuclear medicine technician. This is done by injecting a radioactive medication into your vein so that it mixes with your blood and can be watched as it circulates back to your heart. The amount of radioactive exposure is less than having an x-ray taken. The equipment used in-office allows the patient to remain comfortably seated while a special camera rotates around you, taking real-time
