Traditional Fine Arts Organization, also known as TAFO, is a privately funded, nonprofit organization that focuses on education in American art through advocacy, publication and research. It conserves art collections and encourages the establishment of art museums. The organization also offers several programs for the exhibition and touring of private art collections. It provides financial assistance for the recording and streaming of video and audio contents for museums, as well as the online publication of scholarly texts and conversion of analog text to digital files. Traditional Fine Arts Organization also assists museums and art galleries with Internet usage, expansion and maintenance of digital libraries, and options for distributing, licensing and monetizing proprietary intellectual properties.
