- Inland Regional Center, located in San Bernardino, Calif., is a community-based, private, nonprofit organization. It provides a variety of services to individuals suffering from developmental disabilities. The organization focuses on enhancing quality of life, independence, inclusion, and normalization for individuals suffering from developmental disabilities. Inland Regional Center mainly serves more than 21,000 individuals residing in San Bernardino and Riverside counties, Calif. The organization covers a service delivery area of more than 28,000-miles. It also contracts with the California Department of Developmental Services to provide comprehensive case management services to people with developmental disabilities. Inland Regional Center also implements the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act. It provides various entitlement programs in California for people with mental retardation, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and autism.
