This contractor (Fernando Quinones) was a "No Show" to fix my A/C unit during an extremely dangerous heat advisory period. After accepting an expedited work order from American Home Shield (Home warranty company) to conduct repair work on a broken A/C unit, communication with Fernando Quinones established he would service my A/C on the afternoon of July 20, 2018.

Ambient's owner agreed to call me around "Noon" to let me know if he could make it in the afternoon. Around 11 a.m. he responded he would be "on the way to my house after his next service call".

After taking the entire afternoon off, I waited at the house until 5 p.m. with NO COMMUNICATION (text or phone call) from Ambient. I texted Fernando Quinones several time to inquire as to his status, and attempted several phone calls and left messages on his phone which went unanswered or returned.

I then contact the Home Warranty company who was able to get in touch with Fernando, who told the warranty company he couldn't get to my house until the following week. UNACCEPTABLE!! I tried to contact the owner of Ambient again to let him know I was disappointed and all I wanted to was an explanation as to why he stood my up and refused to communicate. I explained a reasonable explanation would be fine, otherwise I would be forced to refer the company as a complaint to the home warranty company and the BBB. This is the responsible course of action for all customers as the community deserves to know they could be taken advantage of by Ambient Recovery Services. Fernando Quinones immediately responded with a text "Do Not Contact Me Again At This Number." I think that response validates and proves my concern as a customer regarding Ambient's complete lack of customer care, service, and integrity. I responded I was moving forward with my complaint(s), to which Fernando texted, "that's fine, I'll tell everyone about your 'threatening' tactics." I guess I shouldn't have expected more.
