You know when you've done something to yourself, and the unknown factors create not only 'fear' of what you do not understand, but frustration because your not yourself? Well, I experienced that when I hurt myself in the oilfield, and weeks later, the pain in my right shoulder was so bad, I thought I was going to die - I found the Bone and Joint Group - Dr. John Skedros, M.D., was my doctor, now I was a very unique patient, and slightly difficult to treat because of my 'many allergies' to various pain medicine(s); I even tried the Ultram but had a reaction to it; which did no help matters. Overall, after, following the regime given, shots, therapy, etc., the doctor went in found the problem and I was able to get my life back. 6 months later, that doctor got to do both of knees, at the same time - even though that was my request, not his recommendation - and he did such a great job, I was bouncing back within a month. After having had a previous consultation with a different doctor at another clinic, and being treated as if my complaint was very elementary, Dr. Burton and his physician assistant treated my situation with concern and validated me as having a condition that needed oversight and treatment.
