- Family PracticeShe is board certified in family practice and psychiatry and has 13 years of combined clinical experience managing medications for patients throughout the lifespan. With these dual certifications, her goal is to evaluate children, adolescents and adults from an integrative perspective. Medications are typically an adjunct to other modalities of treatment and Dr. Broadhead is a medication minimalist as necessary. When used appropriately and safely, they can greatly improve the effectiveness of an individual’s treatment plan.
- AutismI have worked in residential treatment centers, day care treatment facilities for troubled youth and Autism, Family Services, and private practice. I specialize in helping youth and adults work through these challenging times by figuring out how and what to change. I look at therapy as an opportunity to help people work through life’s challenges (relationship challenges, social withdrawal, addiction, self-esteem, etc.). I do not consider myself to be anymore or any less than anyone else. I encourage people not to judge themselves in negative ways or to judge others. I believe our lives can improve if we can see ourselves and others in healthier ways.
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)I am originally from Seattle and went to St. Louis University School of Medicine for my MD degree which I received in 1994. I specialize in adult psychiatric medication management and enjoy working with adults of all types with varied disorders, including adult ADHD, anxiety, depression, and traumatic brain injury.
