many of the nursing staff were abusive verbally and incompetent in their nursing skills: they lacked practical knowledge of proper wound treatment & prevention of infection, administered wrong meds, failed to administer ordered meds or grossly lacked knowledge of drug administration in general, poor communication skills, often negligent in care of residents, breached confidentiality of resident's medical conditions to friends, family, etc.; stole residents personal items/money, food was very poor and distasteful and sometimes even dangerous(uncooked meat, etc.); Mangement/Administration often acknowledged patient complaints, but did little to nothing to resolve problems/concerns.
