General Info
You know you've got a great job when you love it so much that you buy the business! Dayva Stankyavichyus was the man ager of Siegrfied's Delicatessen down the block for 16 years before she bought it and moved it to its current location. Today, Dayva continues the tradition of preparing and serving the same authentic German home cooking that made the first Siegfried's legendary. In fact, Dayva has gone even further. She traveled all the way to German to refine her cooking techniques, learning first-hand how to make German sausage, chocolates, pickles and sauerkraut from scratch. If genuine German cooking has spoiled you, there's no place in Utah to go but Siegfried's. Everything is made fresh daily with only the finest ingredients. Diners enjoy dishes such as bratwurst, wiener schnitzel and leberkaese with sides of hot potato salad, rotkohl and the not to be missed buttery, handmade spaetzle. There are also shelves packed with imports delicacies you won't find anywhere else in the United States. This place is so steeped in German culture, a Deutschland tour guide recommended Siegfried's to homesick travelers sojourning abroad. If you don't have the time or the resources to travel to Europe, come to Siegfried's Delicatessen for a tantalizing slice of Germany.

I LOVE Siegfried's! When I was a kid, I traveled to Germany quite often, as my Oma lived (and still lives) there. To me, a trip to Siegfried's is like going home to heaven. They have all the German comfort food I crave and it is delicious and entirely fresh-cooked! And oh, the German imports! Chocolates, bread, sauce mixes, candies, I could go on and on. This is truly one of my favorite places to go.
Absolutely delicious. Ate Dinner at SIEGFRIED'S last night. The food was so good.
I WAS a regular customer until one day I was standing in line and a individual (I won't say gentleman)butted in line. When I said something him, his coment was; "I come here every day". I mentioned to the staff that I did not agree with him going to the front of the line, and they just shrugged their shoulders and did nothing. I spent 20 years in the military, and this was unacceptable pratice for even a general to go to the front of the line. They should of sent the inconsiderate #$#@ back to the end of the line. Now they have lost my business and all the customers that I bring with me... hope they get good business from the $@! to make up for the loss.

The lunchtime line says a lot. If you love German food, this is the place to go. Hot food and those oh so hard to find Shaller and Weber cold cuts that you crave! Clean and cute - a fun place to shop if you're looking for unique chocolates and goodies for a gift basket for your friends. I love this place!
