Meridian Automotive Systems is a leading supplier of front- and rear-end modules, lighting, exterior composites, console modules, instrument panels and other interior systems to automobile and truck manufacturers. The company operates more than 20 plants throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. It supplies original equipment manufacturers and major Tier One parts suppliers. In 2005, Meridian Automotive Systems won the SPE Grand Award for Ridgeline s composite in-bed trunk. The company has a full range of metal-stamping capability with tandem press lines that range from 1,200-ton capacity to 75-ton stationary presses. Its Class-A stamping ability is highlighted on truck and SUV bumpers. Meridian Automotive Systems also has capabilities that include rollforming, injection molding, compression molding, steam chest molding, reaction injection molding, vacuum metalizing, e-coat, A-gloss paint, soft-touch paint, chrome plating and vacuum forming.
