Nilla Shields is a full lifestyle brand in contemporary clothing for women, teens and young girls. It began with women's pants, and has expanded to include women's skirts, hooded jackets, dresses and tops and pants for girls. Nilla Shields design team is constantly searching for new and unexpected fabrics, keeping the designs fresh and ever evolving. The company was founded by Liz Chapman, a designer who designed women s pants in early 2002 in a studio over her garage. Chapman designed Capri and regular length pants, had her creations sewn up and from that experimentation, a craze was born. Chapman named her company Nilla Shields. The company has since moved to a bigger space to accommodate the company's growth, but Chapman still loves the inspiration she gets from being in the space above her garage. She lives with her family on the beach in Clearwater, Florida.
