I have bought furniture twice through the Fenton location. I dealt with the same person both times, and both times she messed up our order, left things off and redid until our receipts made no sense and looked like a 5th grader did it. The first time I didnt think twice about it because we were happy with the furniture and the deal we got. My 2nd experience got even worse. The furniture was delivered with 3 pieces damaged and 1 piece missing altogether. It was like pulling teeth to get "her" (in fenton) to even acknowledge anything. Finally after making demands 3 weeks later she finally ordered the missing piece and got 1 piece of furniture fixed. Also, we paid for delivery and set up. The first time out they set up, but on the 2nd delivery for the remaining balance, the furniture was brought in and set down and we were told that this was not a "set up" (PAID FOR) I didnt even address it with them this time, just hoping we get the missing piece, and glad to be done w/ them

I bought my furniture at Midwest Clearance Center and received great service. I was pleased with the informal environment and felt comfortable making my purchases with the friendly staff. I had many rooms I was trying to furnish and they took the time to help me find the perfect price and style. Super affordable and I price checked many other companies before finding Midwest Clearance Center. I will be coming back.

I was in the market to buy a single seat rocking recliner and thought to check out in midwest clearance center in St.Peters based on the reviews in google. But I was completely disappointed and the store does not even deserve 1 star!



When I entered the store, there was a sales person (sorry, don't know his name as he never introduced himself) who was sitting/lying on a recliner sofa with his legs stretched and even though he saw me he completely ignored me! He did not even have the courtesy to wish the customer or check if I was looking for something specific.. I approached him and told him that I was interested to buy a recliner and asked him where I can find them? He pointed me in a direction still lying on the recliner and told me to come back after I decide on something.



I looked for couple of recliners and could not find the price tag on any of them and went to the same sales person to check if he can help to let me know the price. He was very arrogant and rude in his reply and told me he will let me know the price only If I have decided on something. How can anybody decide without knowing the price?



I also asked him if there are any deals or discounts going on and he gave an analogy of grocery store and sarcastically asked me If I buy Ham in grocery store, will I go ask for deals or discounts?!



I hope this review reaches the owner of the store and I can let him know/describe who that sales person was as just because of him, the entire store will get a bad name! Or who knows he himself could be the owner of the store!



I would not recommend this store to anybody just because of the unprofessional behavior of the sales person! They might have some great furniture but to sell that you need to have good customer service!



A big ZERO STAR!

I would highly recommend Midwest Clearance Center. They sell quality furniture without the fancy showroom prices. The same furniture I purchased was priced $700-$800 higher at a nearby furniture store.

Not bad, they sell decent stuff really cheap.

Not the biggest place in the world and you need an appointment but these folks will SAVE you money on mattresses and furniture.
