My name is Abdullah Saleem, in 1987 while attending Lemoyne Owen College in Memphis,TN and also working at St Jude Children's Research hospital I first began working with individuals with disabilities Over the years while continuing to work in acute care nursing, I continued to have a passion for working with individuals with disabilities In 2009, I made the transition to working full time with individuals with disabilities Seeing the necessity for more providers I made the commitment to become a licensed provider, so in late 2015, I began my journey to advocate and promote the self independence of all individuals with disabilities
