Most of the reviews on Lorenzo's have been on their excellence for their menu, unfortunately, this review is based solely on the differential treatment we received because the person in charge of our party was African American.

Yes, we did have reservations and yes, they did have several empty large tables prepared in the main dining area but we were seated in a room away from the main dining room. Our table didn't even have a cloth tablecloth and napkins or set up nicely as the it should have been with reservations. If it had been up to me, I would have left. My cousin was courteous and said there was nothing that she could have done to change things without making a scene. We did have two children in our party but there were several tables in the main dining room that had children, too. It was the hardest $160 bill to pay for a dinner that left us all with a bad taste in our mouth. If the proprietor knows this is how a select group of customers is being served, he should go back to Italy.

great food and especailly the bread sticks and butter.

We have eaten there 3 times now and the food has been outstanding all 3 times. It starts with the crispy breadsticks and dips. The blue cheese dip is especially good. The wine selection is good and no matter what you order, it's delicious.

The service is usually very good. The last time we ate there, the waiter was not as attentive as our previous experiences but not bad.
