Carr Lane Visual and Performing Arts Middle School offers programs in vocal music, piano, drama, mass media, dance, band, strings, harp and visual arts. The school s academic program includes language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, reading, spelling, gifted mathematics and science, family and consumer sciences, industrial technology and physical education. It also provides several special education programs to individuals who are mentally-handicapped, learning-disabled, speech-impaired and physically-handicapped. Carr Lane Visual and Performing Arts Middle School is a part of Saint Louis Public Schools and is based in St. Louis.
