- Dental ExaminationYour first visit begins with an initial consultation that is usually without fee. We ask you about your present dental concerns and relative medical and dental history. You have the opportunity to ask us questions, and together we discuss and explore possible treatments. If you wish to proceed with a more complete evaluation during your first visit, an oral examination, x-rays, and study casts may also be completed.

- Gold RestorationsAt your first appointment, Dr. Olson prepares your teeth, makes impressions, and fabricates provisional restorations to protect your prepared teeth until the cast gold restorations are completed.
- VeneersVeneers - The application of a laboratory manufactured color-matched layer of porcelein that is bonded to the visible surface of existing teeth. Veneers are sometimes useful for correcting large defects and are often used for closing spaces between teeth and to repair teeth with large chipped surfaces. Veneers are also a means of whitening teeth.
- CrownsI remember one day I was treating a patient who had a crown that Dr. Olson placed. I couldn't find where the crown ended and the tooth began because it was fitted so well. I asked a fellow hygienist to look to see if she could find the edges and she couldn't find them either!
- BridgesWhen one or more teeth have a large old filling, are fractured, severely damaged by decay, or missing, we may recommend the placement of a crown (cap) or a bridge. A crown strengthens, restores and protects a single tooth while a bridge replaces one or more missing teeth. Crowns and bridges are anchored using a special adhesive and are not removable.

- Root Canal TreatmentPorcelain Crowns and Bridges - Porcelain Crowns are restorations which are placed over your entire tooth and often provide the best long-term solutions for severe problems. Teeth which have had root canal treetment, severe fractures or large fillings may require crowns. Porcelain bridges may be neccesary in situations where one or several teeth are mising. Porcelain teeth (pontics) replace the missing teeth and are connected to two or more crowns.
- DenturesDr. Olson always encourages people to save their teeth whenever possible. However, if your teeth cannot be saved, or if you already wear a denture, Dr. Olson can provide you with high quality new or replacement dentures.
