Lakeview Elementary School is operated by The School District of Osceola County, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. The school serves more than 700 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It conducts classes in various subjects that include language arts, math, science, social studies and physical education. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as dance, theater, music, visual arts, and health and computer education. Lakeview Elementary School provides special education services to gifted and talented students. The school also offers the English for Speakers of Other Languages program. Its staff includes a psychologist, social worker, speech therapist, and vision and behavioral specialist. In addition, it operates a volunteering program, OASIS, which includes organizing field trips for adults. The school also has a parent-teacher organization that conducts various fundraising activities and special programs, including family nights and book fairs.
