Cathy Vincent has been without question a Godsend for my son Austin. Austin was diagnosed with severe developmental delays with extremely low scores in the 1st and 2nd percentile at the age of 3 years old and later with autism. I was completely heart broken and I was told by my son’s former neurologist that Austin would not be able to live an independent life and the Principle of Special Services in our school district told me that asking for more therapies from the school district would be a waste of resources and to accept Austin as he is. Despite being repeatedly told that Austin would basically have no future by the people who I thought would be there for Austin I never gave up and yet I was completely devastated.

I was referred to Cathy Vincent by another parent whose child had made wonderful progress with Cathy Vincent. Austin was with Cathy Vincent for 4 years and the difference between Austin now and when he began seeing Cathy Vincent is beyond spoken words. Night and day doesn’t come close to Austin’s progress and transformation to the person he is today and I always hoped he would be. Most people have no idea that Austin has Autism and I owe so much of this the Cathy Vincent. As a parent you always have dreams that your child’s future and life would be without limits as I did when Austin was born. Cathy Vincent throughout the years of her dedication, hard work, caring, nurturing, and never giving up on Austin and his abilities has allowed me to dream again for Austin to be in life whatever he wants to be (a firefighter).

Being parent of a child with special needs most of us parents feel a special connection between each because of the struggles, stresses, fears, never ending fights with school districts, health insurance companies as we do everything we can to help our children have the life we always wanted for them. I say to you as I have said to many other parents never give up no matter what is told to you. I never gave up Austin and I thank God for Cathy Vincent because she never gave up on Austin.

This company is great at making appointments, returning calls right away and are friendly. Our first appointment is next week. I just got off the phone with them and they told me I can sit in while my son receives services, which is good. I recommend you schedule an appointment with them and see for yourself.
