      Andrew Koo, M.D. is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist with The GW Medical Faculty Associates. Dr. Koo completed his undergraduate degree in Microbiology with a Minor in Spanish from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He earned his medical degree at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Rochester Hills, Michigan, and went on to complete his residency at Beaumont Health System in Royal Oak, Michigan. Dr. Koo's clinical interests include robotic and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, contraceptive management options, abnormal uterine bleeding, and all aspects of prenatal care. Dr. Koo has a passion for working with medical students and residents and creating a positive learning environment. This love of teaching extends to his patients and he stresses the importance of shared decision-making patient education. Dr. Koo is grateful for the opportunity he has to work with women and to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
