In doing a series of interviews with WWII veterans, I relied on Peachtree Village in Roswell, NM to arrange sessions with their clients. They couldn't have been more helpful and gracious and the veterans more receptive and warm. The facility was truly gracious and upscale. For one interview, we met in the veteran's apartment and for the other in the central library. Both locations were spacious, well appointed and welcoming. One of the veterans had just received an honorarium in the form of a Pendleton blanket which had been woven to include the stripes of each of the wars in which the US had been engaged. The veteran donated this blanket to Peachtree and the staff had it mounted and hung on the wall in the library. They also have two different walls dedicated to veterans, one honoring the fallen, another honoring the living. Peachtree Village is impressive, considerate, and, above all else, actively engaged in their clients' well-being, emotional as well as physical.
