My favorite Thai restaurant, out of all the ones I've been to in Northern California. I highly recommend this one.

I am vegan and was reluctant to try an unfamiliar restaurant. I have had bad experience before with waiters not speaking English well, coupled with their lack of concern when I request no animal products and tell them I am allergic to shellfish, so no oyster sauce unless vegetarian. The waiter at Ruen Thai spoke and understood English and was quite familiar with vegan diet. He recommended # 35 and altered it according to my selections. Absolutely superb experience. For once I did not walk away feeling like I created a problem for the waiter or the chef. Wonderful food, service and ambiance. I will return with additonal family and friends. . . probably later this week. I thought Amarin Thai downton Sacto was the best, but you have opened my eyes. Thank you for the experience. I will definitely spread the word. THANK YOU!!!!

I used to work at a thai resturaunt in the area. It had amazing food and it closed down last year. Ever since then I've been seaching to find a thai resturant that can compare. I had been to many places and been impressed but not blown away. Ruen Thai BLEW ME AWAY!!! The only way i can describe the food is orgasmic! I was very impressed by the way the flavor seemed to fill my mouth. It truly surpassed not only any thai food I've ever had, but really ANY food I've ever had. I can't wait to have the privelage to eat Toy's food again. And that brings me on to my next point. Toy is the nicest guy in the world. It was truely a pleasure to meet him. I really got the feeling that he took great pride in his cooking and truely wanted to create the best experience he could for me. He shared with me some of his knowledge and insight into Thai food, culture and spirituality. I now have a resturant that I can confidently and without a doubt call my absolute favorite!!! I came across this gem last week by chance. Lucky me! I met some friends at Ruen's and we were all new-comers. We love the nice decorations and the aquarium display. Now comes the food, and what a feast we had!The shellfish was fresh, the spices were yummy, the satay was great and the desert was excellent too! Our server was very helpful and pleasant and he made us feel at home. Keep up the good work and I see you again soon! Mark

We ordered 6 entrees and all were bursting with the fresh, authentic flavors of Thailand. I am also a great fan of the desert mango with sticky rice. I have tasted this desert in several thai restaurants but Ruen-Thai's was the best I've ever tasted. It's worth a visit. Great food, great service. You'll definitely come back.cathyMeadow Vista, CA

Overall the food was excellent. We ordered three main courses #39 Roast Duck Curry ($9.95), #45 Marinated prawns with house garlic sauce ($10.95), and #67 Stir-fried rice noodles with tofu ($8.95).All ingredients were of very high quality and the preparation was excellent.The vegetables included with the curry and rice noodles were fresh, colorful and of excellent quality. The texture and taste of the noodles and tofu were superb. All of the dishes were very flavorful and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We try different dishes each time we go and all their dishes have been flavorful, light, and seasoned well. The ambiance is soothing, and relaxed making our dining experience enjoyable. It has become one of our favorite restaurants in Roseville. Prices are very reasonable.

I have traveled all over usted States, having eaten at a wide variety of cuisine, including Thai in Chicago, New York, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and other smaller towns. I must say that Ruen Thai is ABSOLUTELY the best flavor & quality Thai cuisine I have had anywhere. I have had the privilege of eating at some of the finest restaurants around the U.S.A. and outside, and the quality of food at Ruen Thai Restaurant is second to none, and truly outstanding in authentic Thai, with amazing fresh ingredients, bringing out VERY distinctive flavors of Thai food. Soon after each dining experience at Ruen Thai, we find ourselves craving the food again, and are always excited to return for another amazing, mouth watering dining experience at Ruen Thai. You must check this out!!! The food is excellent -- authentic fresh and very flavorful. Not only is the food excellent, but the overall experience is too. Toy, the owner/manager is very friendly and always makes us feel welcome.

My husband and I have lived all over the country and enjoyed finding the Best Thai food and this definitely ranks among the best we've had. The food is amazing. The service is friendly. Can not beat this restaurant. We especially love the Chicken Pad Khing, Tom Yum Gai, and Yum Neau and of course they do a great job with the classic curries and Pad Thai. You can not go wrong here.

We decided to try this restaurant last minute on a Saturday night. The service was awesome, the food was mouthwatering, and even my teenager loved the food and new experience!!!We highly recomend this restaurant, and we are going to make this a weekly tradition.

I have been in Roseville for 2 weeks and I've been here 4 times. You can't by the exterior but this place is marvelous once you step in the door. The food is unbelievable!! The service was awesome as well. I definitely recommend this place. You cannot go wrong. Spread the word!

After Toy sold his previous restaurant a few years ago, we tried every Thai place within 15 miles looking for a suitable replacement. Nobody comes close for Thai food. We are so happy that Ruin Thai is back. They are dependably delicious. We like to order familiar dishes and something we never tried before. We've never been disappointed with any dish. If you catch them during a slow spell, try the cucumber stuff soup. It's not on the menu anymore, but it's great if you can talk them into making some for you.

Very nice atmosphere with great food. I've always loved Thai Food and this is the closest you can get in term of taste. Both lunch and dinner offer superb menu.

Ruen Thai is superb! If you know anything at all about Thai food, you will not be disappointed in the least.The food is exquisite and service impeccable. Definitely a favorite-you will keep coming back for sure! THE BEST THAI IN ROSEVILLE!
