This business is a NIGHTMARE PLEASE READ TO SAVE YOUR CAR!!! They will push your car past warranty to actually tell you it needs to be fixed. Yes they seemed nice at first but I will never take a car here ever again! We had issues with our truck we took to one in Citrus Heights but when my 2005 Mustang GT 5 speed automatic(which are rare) transmission went out in October my dad decided to take it where it was close to the house which so happened to be here and they were all nice and informational... we asked for a full rebuild with all brand new parts... and Nick had told me that he's never actually seen a 5 speed automatic mustang GT before, so that made me uneasy at first and I asked them if they were gonna make sure they did my car right and they guaranteed it. Well I get it back and 2 days later I notice it is shifting harder than supposed to and my check engine light just kept going on and off and so I took it in to them for the "10 day check" and they claimed everything was running right and the codes were nothing so they just erased the codes. After that it was even worse but needed to have a car so I drove it and it got worse and worse so in march I took it back to them again and they said they were busy cause it was Saturday but they would make it top priority... yeah I had to call them for an update and then call again 15 min before they closed to know weather or not my car could be picked up and he told me that they only had time for 1 person to drive it for 5 min and there were no codes so nothing was wrong.... so I was working and my parents went and picked it up for me and so when I finally got a chance to look at the sheet they gave us it said 2 people drove it for 30 min each and they checked everything and there was no issue.... so at this point around end of June I'm like okay my car sounds like it's about to go out slamming into gears like it did before it went out in October so I called another transmission place (rocklin transmission) and explained everything and they test drove it when the guy went to put in reverse to take it on a test drive it slammed into gear and so he immediately got out and put my car on the lift took my transmission pan off and drained the transmission fluid... fully contaminated the magnet was full of metal and the pan was full of metal shavings and the fluid was dark brown when should of been a light see through pink they also pointed out flaws on amco sheet of what they charged me for and apparently a brand new sylinoid block was 77 dollars when no where even Ford said they can't get them cheaper than 250 dollars... so every shop I've been to said it probably wasn't replaced or they replaced it with a used one they also said they replaced 3 parts with used parts but didn't replace the main part that keeps all those parts running, it's like replacing 1 tire and not all 4!!! So I took it back to amco and they took it in and Nick was kind of a jerk about it and so they had it and then came back saying that the metal in pan is normal in their eyes and opinion but they cleaned out the pan and drained fluid and put new fluid in it just like I assumed, said there was no codes !! So nick said there was nothing wrong with it but ended up showing his true cards when he said "WE ARENT GOING SPEND THE 1,000 Dollars TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE ISSUE IS WITH YOUR CAR!!!!" Like what?!? So you are saying there is an issue but I just don't want to do the stuff it needs to get fixed properly when it is still under warranty!!! 7 other shops said their should be no metal in that pan what so ever! A day after I get it back from them I went to get my oil changed done and I asked them to just check my transmission fluid A DAY AFTER AMMCO APPARENTLY FLUSHED THE FLUID OUT AND CLEANED THE PAN AND PUT NEW FLUID IN IT! And so they did and they showed me a comparison from new fluid to the fluid in my car.. a day after ammco changed it my transmission fluid was dark brown and was contaminated full of metal!!! So
