Yes they are. We checked 3 of the 5 listings they handed over and they were either owner-occupied or managed by a different firm. But keep asking for the money back until you get it. Protect yourself with having those owners say in writing or on film they have never worked w Exclusive Home Rentals

So my story is the same as everyone else. They scammed me out of my $190. My mom just called the place to tell them that we still have not received our refund. Now they are saying that we do not qualify until the 90 days are up which will be in December. We have been going to this place like every two weeks to get updates and now they are saying we have to wait. They should have just told us that from the beginning! My mom argued with one of the girls and the worker actually insulted my mother by calling her crazy. My mom said f**k (my mom has a feisty attitude) you and she responds by saying f**k you right back and hung up on my mom. I literally have to fight the urge to go down there and getting into a fight! These people are scam artists!! Don't give them your money! Today I'm going down to the police station and legal aid to see what can be done about this place. And like someone else said report them!!

I can't believe this, ..just a few days ago me and my mother went to this place... I wish i had googled it before!!! Ahh the same thing that everyone is saying is happening ...its been 5days...n they have not gotten bak to us with our dumb appointments! We ent to see a certain house n the adress didn't even exists! We called n she told us it was a typo!! BS! I really can't believe people do this for a living. The women that helped us. I'm so lucky last night I signed a lease to my new home. I give them 5 stars I would recommend any one. I was so surprised when they were able to negotiate the rent to a lower price!!! I didn't even ask them to do that for me.

at first when i got here i was little scared because i have signed up at agency before but they didnt help me or give me my money back, but me and my girl were desperate so we signed up anyways like a week later they got us a Place!!!! im so glad i came

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!! I went to this place back in April, and at first, it seemed like it was a good place, they gave me an appointment to view a house, and then I started to notice that none of the places were what I had asked for. I asked for a place that allowed pets, and less than $1,200 rent, and I kept getting places that didn't allow pets and were like $1,500, which was way out of my budget. So, I finally found a place (ON MY OWN) that was within my budget, in the area I wanted, that accepted pets. And I requested a refund, and they seemed very willing to give it to me, they asked me to fill out a "refund request" and I did and they told me it'd be 10-15 days to get my refund, so, I waited 15 days and NOTHING. I called and asked about it and they kept saying that it had been processed already. This went on for about 2 weeks, by then I had moved, so, I called them to let them know my address change, and they claimed that my mail had gone back to them. They had sent it to an address that HAD nothing to do with the one I gave them, and it turns out that instead of calling me to let me know that they needed a utility bill from me, they mailed me a letter requesting it, and NO ONE told me this when I called for so many weeks straight. So, last week I faxed the info to them, and I verified that they received it....let's see if they really refund my money. But I'm not holding my breath on it. By the way, THEY ARE NOT A REAL ESTATE OFFICE!!!!!!!! They just have access to the MLS listings and they POSE as a real estate office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!

No stars! This business and the people associated with it are scam artist that cheat people out of their $190.00. My wife and I payed their deposit for the contract in hopes they would help us find a house. They gave us listings to check out and when we called them back to have them contact the owners about veiwing the houses, we got the run around. In the month that we were actually having them help us, through unanswered phone calls and no call back conversations, we didn"t get to view even 1 house from them. I got so fed up with there unprofessionalism that I knocked on the door of one of resident listings they gave us. I spoke to a family member of the residence and she said that their house was not up for rent and they have been living there for over a year. I was furious. I put in a request to cancel my contract with them right after, but that's juss what it is, a request that they will not grant. They sent me a letter in the mail stating we are unable to cancel the contract and recieve our deposit back until the 90 day period is over. From that time all the way to the 90 days I did not recieve a call, a listing, a letter, absolutely nothing from them. It has been 90 days and my wife went there today to get our money back. They said that we must give them a utility bill of our current address to recieve our deposit back, which they only give a 10 day grace period to give them the information from the end date of our 90 day contract or else they keep the entire deposit. I am going there tomorrow to give them their info so they don't try to keep the money they did not earn. I talk to one of the representatives and she said that as long as I turn in the info they asked for that i should receive my money back with 10 to 15 days based upon the accountant of the business. I further asked her about " what is the request for cancellation form for when they have no means of doing it" NO ANSWER!!!!!!!. Well see if I get my money back! DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A SCAM TO YOU??? UUMMM HELL YEAH! STAY AWAY! furthermore, if there is anyone that can help me through a legal standpoint such as better business bureau, media, or anything at all so that what happened to me does not happen to anyone else. Please do not go to this place!!!! It is a scam. They have people who call themselves "agents" whose names are Sandra, Monica, Pablo, all of which are just a bunch of irresponsible people, who claim they will help you, but they don't. All they do is take your money. Sure, they will give you a list of addresses for you to look at, but then when you call them to make appointments to view the house, they coincidently happen to be ill with a "contagious throat infection" and "call back next week, Amigo". They say they refund your money via mail within 10-15 days, we'll see about that. Please do not go there, you will get ripped off. Please, keep your $190 in your pocket and save them instead of giving them a way to those filthy thieves.

Claro, les dan una lista de 5 a 6 direcciones, les dicen que vayan a checar la zona por fuera, y cuando ya ha hecho uno eso y les llaman para hacer cita para ver los hogares por dentro, que coincidencia que estan enfermos con "una infeccion contagiosa en la garganta" y "llame la siguiente semana, amigo" Dicen que les re-embolsan el dinero por medio del correo de 10-15 dias. Toda via estamos por ver eso. Por favor no vayan ayi, los van a estafar. Por favor, guarden sus $190 en su cartera y no se los regalen a esa gente ratera.

They took my 190.00.. and since saturday have not called me back to confirm homes they offered me.. DO NOT USE THE SERVICE.. THEY ARE A SCAM!!!

My fiancee and I went to Exclusive Rentals almost 2 months ago. We also paid $190 for this service. They gave us 5 maps to homes that supposedly had "tenants that had already been given their 15-30 day notice to move out. However, when we went to look at the houses, the residents looked comfortable and did not look like they were getting ready to move no time soon. They would always send us "rentals" to my email address, but never with our specifications that we asked for such as: the mininum amount we would pay and the area we wanted to live in. The rental listings that I received showed apts when we wanted a home. It showed $2,500 for rent instead of the $1,600 we said that we could afford. I believe they are a rip off, and I do plan on reporting them to the better business bureau. Also, everytime I would call and ask for new listings for the week they would either not send it and then I would call and they would say, "Oh that rep no longer works here, I just started" when in all actuality, it would be the same spanish speaking voice even though she would try to sound different. LOL..I am going to call them tomorrow to get a refund, which will not be an actual refund because they plan on taking the "$40 or $50" because they "still did their job and tried to help us find a place". Get the FUNK out of here. Your business is going to be shut down!!!! (I couldn't post this message without rating this dump)

on 6/7/13 I paid 190$ I was given pages with maps on it for houses that are for rent. they weren't even vacant I spoke to the home owners and they said they never heard of exclusive home rentals. I'm planning on reporting then for fraud if you feel u been a victim of their fraudulent service contact me and join me on exposing them for fraud they are by contacting and filling a complaint to the better business bureau, small claims court, police reports,notarized statements, and even contacting ure local media. you can get all this information by simply searching Google.

These people will not return my phone calls the "rep" who assisted me is "always busy" or "with another client" I am still waiting for them to set up an appointment and most of the houses listed aren't even vacant!!! these people are fraud DO NOT give them your business. they wont even return my calls!!!

I was kinda effy when I went to their office at first because of many stories I have herd about rental offices but I have to be very honest...they matched me with the owner of the house that Im moving into today. I have nothing but good things to say about them, and to recommend people to them. I will never get tire of telling people of how helpful they were to me.

Went in on the 19th of April ... Paid $190... They do false advertisement. I'm trying to get a refund now, they said it take 10 to 15 days to receive by mail. Don't do business !!!

I have just visited these people on 4/23/13 they said it takes up to 24-72 hours n its been time I called them and keep planing phone tag so i'm doing research on these people. Are they fraud?

Has any else had problems with this business? Its been two weeks since we tried setting an appt. For one home we really want and still no appointment. I HOPE THIS ISNT A SCAM. we are worried
