Romeo Community Schools operates more than five elementary, middle and high schools and serves over 5,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12. The district s schools have a staff of regular classroom teachers, learning specialists and instructional assistants. Its schools offer educational programs in reading, music, language arts, math, English, science, social studies, health and physical education, business and creative writing. The district s schools offer various special programs, including Science Olympiad, advanced placement courses, guidance and counseling, geography and spelling bees, reading recovery and math pentathlon. The district s high school has a counseling department that assists students in the areas of future planning and college placements.
