I used to get fried fish at Stan's when I was stationed at Griffiss. It is one of the things I miss about Rome. It was simply the best fried fish I had ever eaten any where in the world. I wish I lived close enough to make a run to Stan's once a quarter, but it is a 3 day drive from Texas. I envy a friend of mine who lives about two blocks from Stan's.
