      Suburban Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center, LLC, has been serving Rocky Hill, Wethersfield, Cromwell, Middletown and surrounding neighborhoods in Connecticut since 1983 ! We are committed to providing the best physical therapy experience with the highest quality of care for the best possible results. We opened our private practice in response to the needs of our local community and we are still going strong after 35 years. We pride ourselves on providing our patients with the highest quality of care that is delivered in a professional manner. Hands-on techniques facilitate pain relief and efficient recovery. Both physical therapy and home programs are custom designed to help you get back to living the life you want to live.
      Business History
      Tom Sweeney graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He opened Suburban Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center, LLC in 1983 and since that time has been treating the residents of Hartford and Middlesex Counties with the latest advancements in physical therapy. Tom has directed most of his continuing education toward the field of orthopedics and sports medicine. Tom played 4 years of football at PENN, has extensive coaching credentials, and has been the strength and conditioning coach for the RCP Post 105 American Legion baseball team. Tom was inducted into the Middletown Sports Hall of Fame in February 2006. When not practicing physical therapy, Tom can be found in the White Mountains where he has hiked all 48 of New Hampshire’s 4000 foot peaks. As a avid Athlete, Tom's love for sports, exercise and the body in motion is the reason he opened and continues to prefect Suburban Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center, LLC.
