Blue Ribbon Plumbing did an amazing job on my bathroom!! The guys are super clean and very nice. Kim and Marion were very pleasant to work with couldn't of asked for a better place to do business!! Great Company to work with A+++. I recommend to anyone!!

We did a complete remodel of the master bathroom, an update of the guest bathroom and some other odds and ends around the house.

Good:
The initial process of picking out things in the showroom was pleasant and low pressure.

The workers that came to the house were professional, friendly and generally easy to be around while they worked.

They handled existing house problems found along the way quickly without much delay to overall timeframe.

When all was said and done Kim did work to "make things right".

Bad:
It appeared that there was a lack of design and planning with this project. They seemed to be winging it.

There seemed to be a lack of communication within the company.

They were about a week over when they actually got done vs the time frame we were given.

Work that was done after their initial cleanup was left uncleaned. We found saw dust on the floor in the basement, drywall dust all over the new vanity and fixtures and wire scraps where outlets were replaced.

Bottom Line:
The whole process seemed way more chaotic and stressful then it needed to be. Between all the things that were missed or not taken into account, I felt like if I wasn't there we would not have gotten what we intended.

The employees however, genuinely seemed to take pride in their work. Overall if they can work on their planning and internal communications this could be a good company.

Issues we hit…
Electrician didn't install correct recessed lighting. The foreman had to replace the fixtures with the LED lighting.

Backer board was not used when tiling the guest bathroom even though it was called out in the contract.

Guest bath vanity top was ordered too small and had to be reordered.

Master vanity was too big for the space they constructed for it. They ended up having to cut into the wall to get the vanity to fit and then needed to cut the draws to fit against the wall. Now vanity draws have some sides rough cut and spray painted black.

had a shower put in to replace a tub. not only did i get charged way over what the job would normally cost but have had nothing but problems ever since. have lived in the home for 60 plus years and never have there been any problems they are experiencing now. had to change the plumbing in the basement and not only change it but did it without a permit. i see this is gonna lead to more problems, I will not ever recommend this company to anyone I know not even my worst enemy.

We love our new shower. The staff was dedicated and hard working. The owner was always there to pitch in and help. I would highly recommend them, especially if you want a professional job.

Way overpriced. Unfortunately I received a call from another plumber who I had called previous to hiring blue ribbon due to the fact it was some what of an emergency and I got ripped off and paid more than 3x more than other company for the exact same solution to the problem. When I called to ask why I paid so much I was told that it was because of all his overhead. What a joke. So He had me cover his overhead on one job and pay for the fact that he had to pay 600 to have his truck repaired that morning. I have two children and would much rather put the extra 1300 into an account for them not to throw it away

This plumber is the BEST!!! He rescued my very elderly parents from a potentially life-threatening situation of having no heat and a boiler that could have burned out and taken the house down with it. The cost was very reasonable. The work was done promptly and thoroughly. He went above-and-beyond in troubleshooting a difficult and extensive problem and making the necessary repairs. This is the only plumber I will ever call for my parents in Rocky Hill.

I had a total bathroom remodel with a custom shower bench. The estimate was in the range of others. The staff was friendly, hard working, cleaned up every night and the job was completed in less than a week as promised. I love my new bathroom. Berlin, CT
