I have never seen a counselor before and didn't think I needed one. Bill was very helpful with my situation, I am still a current client at new direction counseling.

He cares about his clients and makes you feel welcome, instead of uncomfortable about having issues. I would refer anyone to him.

I've seen Bill within the last year.His style is very professional, perhaps a little too serious at times. Anyway, I had seen previous therapists who couldn't
help me with my panic disorder. He helped me with certain "tools" so when panic attacks, I can deal with it w/o medication. I would rate him as a very good counselor

I have been going to A New Direction Counseling Center for several months and most of the time I wait aprox. 10-15 mins. Mr Edelman usually asks how long I've waited and is apologetic. I'm aware than I during MY sessions they always run over sometime by 30-40 minutes or more. I can tell he really wants to help and he doesn't just want to cut a me off during a session. I've struggled with depression for many years and recently have been feeling much better. Mr Edelman has always been polite, compassionate, and really cares how I am feeling. I think it's hard to follow a strict schedule and he has called to let me know if he's been behind whenever possible.

I went to him several times, he was ALWAYS late, not just 5 or 10 minuets, consistently 30-45 minuets, I found it very rude and unreliable, I could never plan anything else because I never knew how late he would be running, he seemed to think he was better than everyone else, I would never recommend him to anyone, I would encourage them to find someone more considerate of there time and schedules.
