Apollo Colors manufactures organic pigments for the printing industry. Its flush color and presscake product lines work with all lithographic and water flexographic ink systems. The company provides pigment research, product development and quality assurance procedures. Apollo Colors' azo and phthalo pigment flushing technology is available in both custom vehicle systems and an extensive merchant flush color line. It also manufactures a high solids presscake line developed specifically for use in water based ink systems and dispersions. The company utilizes over 200,000 square feet in its manufacturing and warehousing facilities. The administration and sales office are located near the company's manufacturing plant in Rockdale, Ill. Warren Norton, Bob Armour and Jerry Stajura founded Apollo Colors in 1969.
