I am not impressed by this funeral home, I am a licensed funeral director that responded to an add in the new York state funeral directors association website, and i left several resumes online and mailed several. I called numerous times, and left numerous messages, but i never received a call back at all. that is not professional at all. It almost makes me think that they reviewed my resume and see that i worked at African American based funeral homes, and assume that i am african american, and rather not hire me because of that. A person is not that busy where they cannot respond. If i was calling concerning a death i am sure he would have been available. i hope that they realize that they could be missing out on a very good employee with lots of experience. The management needs to make him or herself availble for people at anytime or make time to return calls. I am sure that i would never refer anyone to that funeral home on that basis!
