After having a bad experience with another vet we decided to try Dr. Hardens Animal Hospital and could not be happier. He was thorough with diagnosing our Akita with cancer. Opened up, after hours to see our pet because he was so very sick. He was so compassionate when the time came to make that difficult decision..... We recently adopted another Akita and stopped in to show Dr. Harden. Even though he was busy, he took the time to see him. We have two other pets in our home and he has been awesome with treating all of them. His staff is the best around and are there to help you when you arrive in a panic because your furry pet is so ill.

We have been going to Dr Harten for year. He has always given our animals good and loving care. He isn't one that thinks that you put an animal down because you just get bored with them. But you know when he says that its time an animal needs to be put down, that it is. When I had to put my little dog Honey down, he explained what Honey was going though and as hard as it was, it made it easier. My daughter has had her own experience with Dr harten back when she was a teenager. She had, had three Puppy's that each of them died. The one time he came to the office after hours. She was estuarial and he sat her aside and talked to her just like I believe he would of done with his own daughter. I respect his diagnosis with each of my animals and know when I go over to him with one of them, they get the best loving care that they could get. Thank you Dr Harten for your love and caring of animals.

Our family has been with Dr. Harden before he opened his present practice in Roaring Springs. He is extremely knowledgable and is very willing to answer any questions. He was so concerned about our dog during an illness that he called us once a week to get a report on her condition! As in any office you might run into problems with some staff who do not always present themselves well. If he is aware of a problem with a staff member he will address the situation with that person. If you are a client of his he expects you to take care of your pets and follow his advice. He is not unreasonable when you question him on his reasoning for situations involving your pet. He will go to great lengths to explain his reason for the particular treatment plan he is recommending. If you want a second opinon he will help you find one and assist in setting up the appointment! He has cared for over 16 pets of ours since we found him. We really think he is the cats whiskers!

Years ago we started taking our pets to Dr. Harden he was in our town. When he expanded into his own practice it was not in our town. We gladly make the 20 mile one way trip to his office..On the way to his office we pass multiple other Veterinary Clinics some with whom we have been clients. We are so glad that we have found such a knowledgeable vet. When our dog had a cracked tooth he ask a dentist to come in and assist with the surgery. We have had a variety of different kinds of pets from turtles, rabbits to cats & dogs. He likes people who take care of their animals and he will tell you if you arent doing so. Thanks for the great care!

I have been taken my pets & now my show dogs to Dr. Harden be4 he had is own practice. He is the ONLY vet that I trust in this area. He treats my loved pets as he would his own. On 1 occassion he has taken 1 of my pups home with him Rosi, But was called back for an emergency so it was a short stay.. He also has gone to bat for us with a breeder over hip dysplasia in a yellow lab. She was not even a year old at the time he discovered the dysplasia. She lived to be a ripe old age of 14. We were ref. to Ohio State for a better eval of what could be done for Abby. He has patched up my cat that ANOTHER vet messed up in surgery and he is now 16yrs old. I now own goldens we almost lost one of them to an unknown digestive issue. Dr Harden's KNOWLEDGE SAVED HER LIFE. She is now a vegitarian and thriving. Hes is a great caring vet who goes out of his way to help people and their pets. Spends time with his patients making sure you understand what he will be doing or what you should be doin

They were not professional in dealing with my sick puppy. They turned my sick puppy away and he died the next day. I went to another vet the next day who at least tried to keep him alive. I was disappointed with the lack of care and concern for my little puppy. I had dealt with this vet before and really liked my experiences there. It only took this one experience though to make me never want to return. I just hope that no one else loses a pet because the vet can't "fit" him/her in to their schedule. If it is a routine visit, I would recommend this vet, but not for an emergency procedure. They were also not professional with the way they explained their actions to me. I felt as if I were being yelled at for being upset. The vet needs to have more sympathy for patients with dying animals. I was shown no sympathy.
