David Wilson has worked in nursing for over a decade and throughout his career has worked in several fields of nursing care. In every field, there was a recurring theme of poor mental health being associated with poor physical health and poor health maintenance. He realized the treatment of mental illness, as well as the treatment of physical illness, is necessary to lead a functional, fulfilling, and well-adjusted life where good physical health is maintained and promoted. These ideas are what led to his interest in psychiatry.Mr. Wilson has worked in the field of psychiatric nursing and psychiatry since 2015, and has been practicing as a psychiatric and mental heath nurse practitioner since 2019.
