Butchers. Called manager and blew me off. Do not trust them, and do not use them. Seems like the 4 plus star review for them is fake also. Go to Ace Hardware that is 60% less than the dealer for car keys and better than Don's that does not care about black or gay customers and their partners time or if they have 2 working car keys to share.So I call AAA for my 2007 Yaris. Told them to have the service bring out a new key to program also that I would buy their key also, and they did not do it. I had to work while they were working on the car, so I could not supervise the process. Don's manager lied to me that AAA did not tell them what bs. AAA tells you everything on a lock out call. Being 30 min late up walks some drugged out stoner junkie he looked high (took like an hour for a 30 min job), and the first thing he does is put the broken key in my door to open car. Had he done it the housing would have come apart and parts all over the floor. I told him it is a programmed key and all he had to do is hit the unlock button , you know like modern age stuff, car was already unlocked, and I wanted the new key cut and able to lock and unlock the car. If he could not do it with my key then sell me one. I even told him that I wanted 2 keys working Both my keys start the car The Toyota one and the Amazon one, so do not fall for their 50 percent of aftermarket immobilizer chip keys fail story that they cannot program my Amazon key. This is a case of too lazy, stupid, or don't give a s...All I wanted was two keys where you hit lock and unlock remotely on the buttons and they work no matter the cost especially since I have been working with 1 key wanted a spare for my partner told that to AAA too, but no I get some story why they are incompetent at $180

no star's from cynthia this company is totally unprofessional and the customer service is bad as bad can get my husband locked him self out of our home don's lock & key came out to let him in after this company broke the lock on my on my front door our keys could not even fit into the lock any more witch mean's we couldn't lock or unlock our door with key after paying 65 $ I called to let someone know and they wanted 45 more $ to just come out and fix their mistakes and I couldn't post this until I picked 1 star

Outstanding! I called over ten locksmiths and no one was able to make a copy of a broken ignition key using the broken key. This place said they could, I showed up gave the guy the key (in two pieces) and he had a copy done in two minutes. He handed me the key and when I asked how much he said "dont worry about it". Wow. This tells me that this place is here to provide a service and is not just out to get peoples money. All the other places i called said they had to drive out to me and make the copy with the ignition, this would have been a lot of money. I am definitely going back for any future needs.

My daughter & I went to Don's to have keys made for her scooter & while we were there asked if the technician could look at the lock to her scooter's "boot" which she had been having trouble getting to latch. The technician was very pleasant & patient as he found what was wrong with the latch as well as explaining how to prevent it from happening again. The customer service was so much better than when we took the scooter to the shop we purchased it from for the same thing & were told it was just because the scooter was "new". Thank you so much Don's Lock & Key, we are customers for life & will be going there for all our lock & key needs. Cannot give enough praise for their customer service & professionalism. I had to stay late at the office on a Wednesday and didnt get out of there until almost 9:00pm. When I got out to my car I realized I had locked my keys in my car and had no one to call for help, or so I thought. I called a friend who was unable to come out to help me but gave me the number for Dons Lock N Key. Not only where the people at Dons friendly but they came out late at night to help me. Thanks to Dons Lock and Key, I was able to get back into my house when I realized my wife had taken both house keys with her when she left the state. When I called them they where very pleasant and sent someone out to my home within a short time. The gentlemen who showed up was also friendly and worked quickly to get me back into my home.
