Arrid put in a French drain and a subpump in the basement of our business. Arrid was timely, very informative, kind, efficient and affordable. Customer service was outstanding! I would definitely recommend to anyone! Job well done!!

ArtS 4/4/2015 What a positive experience this was! Arid is a family owned business, and they've been waterproofing basement for over 40 years. I'd gotten estimates from some larger and smaller companies, but I'm a guy with a lot of questions and the 'Arid Family," Pat, Mike, Beverly and Kara answered all of them, making a good first impression. Their price was right in the middle and seemed fair for the work that was done, which involved excavating a trench around my basement's walls, laying perforated PVC pipe, liners, gravel, re-cementing and installing a sump pump. Seven men arrived and did the job from start to finish in six hours. They were courteous and professional, took all debris away and swept clean. Mike, the job foreman, was a real gentleman and addresed any concerns I had. Pat, the owner and his cousin, came by on three separate occasions to do walk throughs and make sure everything was prepped properly berfore their crew showed up.

Great company! I recommend Arid to everyone. The crew that did the work was fantastic. The foreman was very professional and worked non-stop right to the clean-up. Pat Fusco, the president must be very proud of his workers. They do a great job.

I would highly recommend Arid Basement Waterproofing Co. We did our research and had several different companies come and give us a quote and Arid was very reasonable in terms of price and knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done. They were professional and courteous, took the time to explain the options and the process to us, made sure to follow up right before the work was done to tell us how to seal off the rest of the house to keep it from getting dusty while the work was being done, and followed up after the work was done to make sure we were happy. They arrived on time on the date we had agreed upon and finished the work to our complete satisfaction in the same day which was less time than we expected. This is definitely a family run business where the owners take pride in their work.

I dont take the time to write many reviews but after my experience with ARID WATERPROOFING, I thought I would offer up my comments! My finished basement took on water twice in 7 years. That was enough for me to do something about it. When I decided to have French drains put it, I started asking around. People were all over the board with the comments so, I just started calling a few companies for estimates. I came to find out that there is a HUGE swing in price for basically, the same work being done. I decided I would get three quotes. One quote was almost three (3x) times as high as ARID and it was a hard sell. That company was Mid Atlantic Waterproofing. The other quote was in the ball park of ARID but, they were not very professional. The guy who came to give me an estimate did not even have a tape measure to get the specs, etc. Plus, he hand wrote me a quote on a business card that wasnt even his! (continued above)

The service and product I received has worked perfectly since day 1. Before my french drains were put in I would get water every time it rained. Its been 7 years and I can actually use my basement without worrying everything will get wet.

We live in an area where the water table is extremely high and have had drainage issues in our yard since we bought the house. We had our basement re-waterproofed in December 2009 by Arid. The first company that did our waterproofing when we first bought our house several years ago ripped us off big time (Atlantic Waterproofing, who went out of business a few years ago)! We called Arid because we were getting leakage into our basement again. They came PROMPTLY when called, and explained in terms I understood what was happening and why and how it can be fixed and all at an amazingly FAIR PRICE! Less than half of what the other company charged. They were at our house within the next week or so and completed the job in ONE DAY! NO mess left behind. It's now March 2010, and we have experienced the WORST RAINS thus far in our area and happily... NO WATER in the basement! Not a drop. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ARID!

After getting a bunch of estimates, I picked Arid because they came in, gave me a fair quote(they weren't the cheapest or the most expensive), told me exactly what they were going to do, and did it. My basement doesn't get a drop of water anymore and the Sante Fe dehumidifier they sold me works like no other dehumidifier i ever had. Believe me i went through 3 of them! Don't go to anyone else! -john k.
