I slipped and fell on their staircase, where someone had spilled a drink.  Two diners helped me up, as the manager watched.  The manager turned to my wife and said "Have you paid your bill?"  My wife said yes and he asked for contact information for insurance.   No offer to comp the meal and no one ever contacted me after that.  I called them after seeing my doctor. Five days later, my call was returned.  The Director of Operations sent a gift certificate made out to the wrong name and for a fraction of what we spent.  I returned it and told them how poorly they handled this situation.   I called after my MRI to say I would require surgery. The Director of Operations said "I wish there were something I could do to win you back, but I don't think there is."  In other words, we are not even going to try.  Final insult is their insurance company refused any liability.  My family has patronized Max's for years, but will no longer.   Thank you Max's for an evening I will never forget.

WOW! The food was absolutely fantastic! The noise level is rather loud, and the restaurant was filled to capacity! But it was still worth every penny spent. Service was friendly and all the staff seemed to pitch in where needed. We will definitely make this one of our favorite places to go. Just wish there were a way to lower the noise level.
